Clear Acne
Is it safe to use Clean&Clear Acne Cleanser and Oxy at the same time?
I just bought some Clean & Clear ACNE CLEANSER and OXY spot treatment from Wal Mart.
For the Clean & Clear, you’re supposed to wet your face, rub the oitment all around your face and wash it off. Afterwards, I want to dab Oxy on the zits so they will go away.
Is that safe? Or will that just make my face worse?
As a mom of a teenage son, it is safe to use both simultaneously. However, if your skin gets really dry, just use the oxy on the zits. Look at the ingredients for the cleanser. If you experience lots of dryness, just get a cleanser without the salicylic acid or without the benzoyl peroxide in it.
Unfortunately those OTC products only minimally help. Oily skin and zits are from your hormones surging. Eat right and get enough sleep. Drink lots of water and cut back on the Cokes. If you still struggle with acne, go see your Dr. There are lots of good meds he can prescribe.
