what is the best acne/skin toner to use that will not fade my skin?
I’m am dark skinned and i like it, i want to get rid of the acne/blemishes and even out my skin at the same time without fading or lighting my skin, i would actually like it to be darker.
If you’re naturally dark-skinned, there’s nothing to worry about. Your skin will always produce more pigment, so scrubbing your face won’t lighten your skin.
As far as skin toners, I’ve found that the Cetaphil products work the best, especially the “Gentle Skin Cleanser” one. They’re in blue/green bottles, and you can find them at Walmart and Walgreens. A lot of the other facial cleansers are okay, but they have fragrances and artificial colors that can make your skin dry.
Also pick up a 5-10% benzoyl peroxide cream (doesn’t matter what brand, but Clearasil and Neutrogena both have one), and apply that only to the acne spots.
