Because what I am going to reveal to you is a simple, natural and effective way to treat and prevent acne using tomatoes.
Why tomatoes?
Because tomatoes contain antioxidant properties that can treat and heal acne when applied directly on acne affected areas. Furthermore, it will also help prevent acne by reducing the size of skin pores.
And more importantly, tomatoes contain cleansing properties that when consumed, it can help cleanse and flush out acne causing toxins from within your body.
And you probably don’t know this but, one of the main reasons why you have acne is because your body contains too much toxins. So for your body to eliminate them quickly, it uses your skin as a secondary channel of elimination.
And this is why your skin to breaks out.
Here’s how you can treat acne using tomatoes:
Now there are two ways to treat acne with tomatoes and I recommend you do them both. Here’s the first way:
- Take a fresh ripe tomato and peel the skin off of it.
- Now cut the tomato in half and remove the seeds.
- Mash the tomato and apply it on your face as a mask.
- Leave it on for 30 minutes.
- Rinse off with cool or warm water and pat your skin dry with a soft towel.
The second way to treat acne with tomatoes is to simply consume it. Again, consuming tomatoes will help cleanse your body of acne causing toxins.
Anyways, just in case you don’t like to eat raw tomatoes by itself, I got a recipe you can easily follow and make your own smoothie.
Here’s how you do it:
- Cut one whole tomato into 4 pieces and place it in a blender.
- Do the same with a peach (just remember to remove the big hard seed)
- Add two cups of ice.
- Blend and drink.
This is the way I do it but you can blend your tomatoes with any other fruit for flavor.
How often should you treat acne with tomatoes?
You can do both of the steps above two to three times daily. But if you’re lazy, just try to do it at least once a day.
For best results: Make sure the tomatoes you use are fresh and raw.
Aged or cooked tomatoes will not be as effective because aged tomatoes will start to lose its value and cooking it will simply destroy most of its nutritional values.
Another important tip: before applying tomato onto your skin, make sure you wash your skin first to remove any dirt and oil that may get in the way of the treatment process.
